I, like many, grew up in a very monogamous minded environment.  All I have ever seen was monogamy and the thought of my... "MY" man.. with another woman? I big clowned. When I say, clowned. I did it all. Fussed. Cussed. "Cheated" back. Showed up at clubs. Called the other women. You know...all the stuff we see on television and hear about. The truth is - it's reality for majority of our women. Sure, it makes for a great book, show, etc. - but what has it (monogamy) done for our community and why are we ok with accepting it?

I think it's quite time to just start having some conversations and see possibly what we are missing and what we can do to redeem our culture through polygyny!
